Logbook

The logbook must ALWAYS be filled in if an event other than arming or disarming takes place.

Examples are alarms, faults or inhibiting zones.

Under DATE enter the date of the event.

Under NAME enter the name of the person who discovered or carried out the event.

Under EVENT/CAUSE enter a short description of the event and, if known, the cause of the event. In the

case of a break-in alarm enter, for example “Alarm in hall/ forgot to disarm”.

Under ACTION enter the action taken to neutralise the event or why the event was carried out.
